CyberTips!

Greetings, I’m Trying To Think CyberTravelers!

The ol’ Information Super Highway can sure be a scary place to drive. I am speaking of course, metaphorically, as you should not try to drive through The Internet in your motor vehicle (that’s CyberTip #1, friends).

Fortunately, we here at I’m Trying To Think are experts in The Internet, and to help keep you safe, we have compiled this list of our handiest, dandiest CyberTips!

Password Security
-The key thing to remember about a strong password for The Internet is that it should contain letters numbers and symbols in order to make it maximally secure. Specifically the letters ‘a’, ‘F’, ‘g’, ‘e’, and ‘R’, the numbers ‘4′ and ‘6′, and the symbol ‘%’.

Phishing Scams
-Never trust your passwords to jam bands. They will sell them to Russian credit card fraudsters in order to buy drugs or effects pedals.

Protecting Your Children
-Instead of giving your child a full computer with access to The Internet before they are ready, consider alternatives such as a Speak n’ Spell.
-Blindfolds, blindfolds, blindfolds!

Spam
-While delicious, Spam is not a healthy snack. Maybe try an apple.

Spam Email
-If you get a mysterious message that claims to be from you and is selling you things, it is not you from the future, but is in fact Spam Email.
-v1agra is fake, but vi4gra is very, very real.
-Women who blindly email you in order to proposition you for sex are 99.8% likely to be Spam Email. If you understand math, then you realize the fun you could be having if you answered a mere 1,000 emails.
